LIBRARY - Bibliographic Data Base

Jordi Clos Library, -specialized in Egyptology and with a large data base of over 10,000 documents-, has become an essential tool for all those studying Pharaonic Egypt. The library has works that, besides their scientific value, are true collectors’ jewels.

Without a doubt, one of the most outstanding works is the complete edition of Description de l’Egypte, (the second edition printed in Paris between 1821 and 1829).

This edition of Description de l’Egypte is one of the few that can be found complete nowadays, written after the Napoleonic expeditions in Egypt at the end of the 18th century. It is understandably worthy of a museum library.
